Joshua Bell

Apart from his flattering looks, Joshua Bell is recognized among the most renowned violinists across the world. He is believed to have magic in his hands. Among a vast estimated career of 30 years of his life, he has played some very significant roles which include a chamber musician, a soloist and a recording artist as well as conductor. Handling all these amazing posts with an equally impressive personality is not an easy task to do. But Bell has done it so very well all these years.

Up till now, Bell has recorded a total of 40 CDs or may be even more than this. Also, he has won Avery Fisher Prize, for which he was quite worthy of. He plays with such enthusiasm and dedication that the music of the violin travels straight towards the hearts of the audience. He has played many times on stage and even on live television shows. Other than this, he tends to collaborate with many other artists and shares his passion with them in order to bring out the perfect thing.

When Bell was of four years old, he received his first violin, followed by that day; he grew a passion for it since the childhood. And by the age of 14 he performed along with Riccardo Muti and Philadelphia Orchestra. In just a matter of days after this, he became a well-known name amid this crowded world.

In a matter of no time, he was placed on a high pedestal, a position for which people crave for their whole lives. Bell is also a successful member of the Committee formed by former President Obama of Arts and Humanities. He also participated in a foundational cultural charge to Cuba by US Government.

He is such a multi-talented guy with all the perks included.

Bond! (guest post)

Music coming out of the strings of a violin makes its way right to the heart. It is so soothing you can listen to it forever. Its sweet sound gives such a peacefully tempting sensation that the listener is forced to believe as if the music is coming straight out of heaven, and is casting an everlasting impression on the mind from wherever it passes along. It’s more like a hypnotism you can say. And you simply just get all lost in the world full of soothing pleasure.

There’s this female band or maybe you can say a feminist band because it has four women singers and violinists in it all together. So it is exactly named as string quartet Bond. Bond, not as in James bond, but the strings quartet bond is the Australian or British bond having a unique specialty in classical crossover as well synthpop music.

Classical? Did someone say classical? The idea of a classical crossover being played on a violin is absolutely unbelievably awesome. And this quartet has literally the best violinists of all time. It embraces two violinists naming Tania Davis and Eos Counsell. The other two members are named as Elspeth Hanson and Gay-Yee Wasterhoff. And together, all four of them are doing wonders. This quartet has sold more than 4 million records and still counting.

Speaking of the violinists, Tania Davis is a really talented artist when it comes to playing a classical crossover on a violin. Looking a bit beyond her background, Tania got her early education from SCEGGS Darlinghurst Sydney. Later on, she acquired some interest in music so decided to move along with that. So, she got a first class Bachelor degree in Music honors from Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

Moving along to the second and equally talented violinist of the string quartet Eos Counsell, she gets her hands pretty smoothly on the violin. She has also got an honors degree in Music from the Royal College of Music London. She has performed her magnificent role of a violinist in many other pop groups which also include The Divine Comedy.

We can never get enough of it; whenever we start listening these violinists practicing their incredible skills using a violin which itself is a magical instrument. It truly takes away the mind and heart of the listener, which is actually so difficult to take both these things along together. But violin does its magic.

Hilary Hahn

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven’t updated in a few days but I’m back to tell you about another exceptional violinist. I was doing chores and cleaning my room today and decided to listen to my Hilary Hahn station on Pandora to get me in the mood.  Hilary is a violinist from America and was born in November 1979. She has had quite and impressive international career, performing all over the world leading orchestras and as a soloist. Her music is so highly thought of that she even has some composers that write music specifically for her! You may be wondering how she got her start in the music industry.. Well Hahn actually began playing the violin at the Suzuki program just a month shy of her fourth birthday, where she participated for one year. She made her first orchestral debut with the Baltimore symphony orchestra when she was eleven. Hilary has said she is most interested in performing music which she has done plenty of throughout the US and Europe. Well my cleaning today was super relaxing and uplifting, the only thing that could have made it better was if I was able to hire a maid Service like this to do the work for me! Oh well though, in the mean time I’ll continue to listen to other violinists and stringed instrumentalists to keep the work as relaxing as possible.

Patrick Contreras

So Patrick Contreras is not someone who I had heard of before but I found him after searching for modern violinists on google. When you search for him a lot of awesome looking electric violins come up, this guy is really fun performance to watch. Patrick is from Fresno, California and says he had a very wide variety of inspiration/influence to that lead to his specific musical style. I have read he has recently started to include EDM and hip hop into his list of can dos which has definitely expanded his fan base. Patrick continues to perform and sell out theaters and clubs.

Thanks for reading if you have any questions let me know here!
